Our Mission
This is more than a marketplace. It's a community.
Queer and Ally is a marketplace focused on finding brands that authentically support the LGBTQIA+ community. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive shopping experience for members of the Queer community and our ally friends; to celebrate their individuality, pride and, most importantly, their love.
10% of our marketplace profits go back to LGBTQIA+ organizations helping to elevate and support our community.
About Us
Queer and Ally was founded out of the need for representation and a desire for more variety than your average rainbow-washed product. We wanted to create, through authentic partnerships, a platform for artists and makers that are either within or supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community - all year round. No rainbow washing during one month a year, here! Don’t get us wrong, we love rainbows, but we don’t need them on everything we buy to celebrate who we are and love. Additionally, we wanted a place where our allies could come and easily find the perfect card or gift to celebrate us.
Queer and Ally was founded by two Queer women, who are happily married to each other. Mamas to two very adorable rescue pups and a whole lotta plants.

10% Back to the Community
We felt it was important to not only create an inclusive marketplace but also build and support the community. At the end of each quarter, we will select one LGBTQIA+ non-profit to donate 10% of our profits. Many of these organizations are found through our research, experiences, and network.

Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping
Please allow 3-5 days for your order to be fulfilled and mailed. Most of the time we try to send packages within 24 hours. You will receive a tracking # the day that we ship your order via email. Unless otherwise selected, your shipment will go out standard via USPS or UPS and arrive in 5-8 business days.
Our products come in unbranded packaging but will say Queer and Ally as the shipper on the shipping label. If you need other arrangements, let us know in the notes and we can arrange for something more discreet.
As much as possible, we try to use recyclable materials when shipping and avoid excess waste such as a packing slip as long as the order is a manageable size.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are managed on a case-by-case basis, unless otherwise noted.
For non-vintage T Shirts, exchanges may be done for size. Exchanges will process once unworn, unwashed items are received.
Cards, Books, and Home items cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged upon arrival.
Damaged items may be refunded and exchanged. Please send us an email with photos and details so we can fill out the proper paperwork with the carrier.

Is everything made by Queer creators?
In many cases, most of the products are by queer artists and businesses, but we love a good ALLY! We vet our vendors and ensure they support the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. We work hard on creating an inclusive representation of the community through our product offering and marketing. At times we could be getting low on stock or awaiting a reorder. If you feel you cannot find an item that best fits your gender identity, presentation, sexuality, or any other identity, please let us know and we will work hard to evaluate our vendors and stock to bring in items quickly.

Do you have an actual store front?
Not yet, but when we started Q&A we wanted it to be an experience and marketplace for the community. Covid-19 paused a lot of those plans but we are still considering it! The more you support us digitally and tell your friends, the more it helps us get to that goal in the future!
